Study aim of the objectives

The Corona Virus Disease ( COVID-19)novel coronavirus, caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2, also referred to as COVID-19), which originated in Wuhan, China in late 2019 has spread across the globe over the course of several months, and has been declared a global pandemic. As of April 18th, 2,160,207 cases have been identified globally around the world; with nearly every country impacted at least one case has been reported in most every country in the world, and with 146,088 reported global deaths from this disease. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) surveillance data, the African region (AFRO) has 13,104 confirmed cases and 616 deaths from COVID-19 as of 4/18/20.The Rwandan Ministry of Health data, as of May 12th, reports 287 diagnosed cases of COIVD-19, while 156 of those cases have recovered, and no deaths have been reported. Rwanda likewise to the rest of the world has adopted strategies to contain this virus,while there has been documentation from developed country ,it is important to share to the rest of the world our strategy which can be used in the country with similar settings.
