Study aim of the objectives

To determine if district hospitals where the neonatal care training was implemented experienced lower proportions of neonatal deaths among births that occurred at the facility in the same month.

To determine if proportions of post-surgery infections was reduced among women who underwent C-sections in district hospitals after the intervention and whether the reduction is sustained.
