The just graduated medics include 44 doctors (general practitioners) who will serve at Provincial and District Hospitals and 46 specialists who will work at Referral hospitals.<br \/>\nThe 46 specialists include; psychiatrists, pediatricians, gynecologists and internal medicine specialists.<br \/>\nAt the deployment, Minister of Health, Dr. Diane Gashumba highlighted that the graduation is a milestone to Rwanda\u2019s Health sector and an addition to improve health service delivery and expertise.  Gashumba urged the new medics to be passionate about their job and to make patients the priority.<br \/>\n\u201cThis is quite a challenging job that requires passion and strong love for it. Despite the challenges, it\u2019s a fulfilling calling to improve life through treating people,\u201d said the Health Minister.<br \/>\nThe new medics pledged allegiance to the health sector owing to their support during their time in school.<br \/>\nThe new doctors come in as an addition to Rwanda\u2019s 1392 doctors and 10795 nurses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ministry of Health has deployed over 90 medics to add value to Health facilities\u2019 service delivery.
