The project aims to strengthen Rwanda\u2019s healthcare system against disease outbreaks by enhancing preparedness, response mechanisms, and resilience.<\/p>\n

The project focuses on improving surveillance and early warning systems, advancing laboratory capacity, and developing the health workforce. Key activities include integrating digital solutions for real-time disease monitoring, upgrading healthcare facility laboratories, and training outbreak response teams\u2014with the goal of bolstering Rwanda\u2019s ability to detect and contain health threats swiftly.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1737454863532{padding-bottom: 15px !important;}”]The project aligns with the International Health Regulations (IHR) 2005 and considers climate impact, gender equity, and vulnerable communities. By addressing critical gaps identified in Rwanda\u2019s Joint External Evaluation (JEE) 2018 and Performance of Veterinary Services (PVS) 2019, SPPROHRW aims to enhance the country’s ability to detect, respond to, and mitigate health emergencies effectively.
